It’s every Mom’s eventual dilemma – what are we going to do for dinner? We try to prepare early but there are just those random nights you don’t feel like cooking. Or, forgot to get that one necessary ingredient from the store.
You could opt for Pizza, or really anything quick from countless restaurants. Always made easier these days with GrubHub, DoorDash, or any other meal delivery service. But have you tried Five Guys yet?
I was first introduced to the menu back in 2014…
My husband said, “I have to show you this burger place, it’s amazing!” I’ve tried many burger joints, but still up to the challenge.
The menu is pretty basic – Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Bacon Burgers, even smaller versions for those with smaller appetites. Hotdogs (Bacon, Kosher, and even just cheese dogs) are offered as well as veggie sandwiches and BLTs. They’re pretty pro-bacon around here! But my husband really praised the fries. How amazing are just regular french fries?
You can also get a handspun milkshake with or without whipped cream. Yes, they have the regular milkshake add-ins like banana or Oreos…but you can also add bacon!
Did Five Guys hit the mark?
The food first off, really is amazing for just burgers! I usually tend to get a single because even a single hamburger is pretty filling. My husband often goes for a double. With topping free, you can pile on all the lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions or mushrooms, or even jalapeno peppers you want! I also love that the beef isn’t frozen – it’s actually fresh and you can really taste the difference.
The fries, regular or cajun style, are fresh-cut and fried in 100% peanut-oil. Which is great if you want to avoid cholesterol.
It was love at first bite, and I’ve been enjoying this restaurant chain ever since!

When we aren’t feeling Pizza, I love opting for this restaurant. They have excellent food even my picky kindergartener will eat. The ingredients are fresh, taste amazing, and the price is agreeable!
Whether you use DoorDash, GrubHub, or UberEats, you can usually get Five Guys delivered easily. You can also order Five Guys online and drive to a location to pick up your meal yourself!
Looking for a job?
I’ve always heard that Five Guys is a great place to work. Restaurants can be a fast-paced, high volume environment. Having worked in one myself, I know that it can be a (sometimes) crazy, but rewarding experience. Every time I go to a Five Guys, the employees are always kind and seem to be in good spirits! Craving Some Bacon?
After reading about Five Guys, are you a little bummed you don’t have a location near you? I have a recipe for a unique BLT sandwich that might give you a break from the norm. But if you do have a Five Guys Burger & Fries nearby, I highly suggest you give them a shot!
Five Guys is AMAZING! My hubby told me the same thing years ago, and now we are hooked!! I love the fact that they offer lettuce wrapped burgers, it’s saving me the calories while I try to loose extra baby weight.
I didn’t know that they made milkshakes however!! I wish I would have known when I was pregnant especially!
Although I know it is not the best nutritional option for me, I do love 5 Guys! And bacon+burger=perfecto in my book!

You are right, how the employees act says a LOT about a company! Wish we had 5 Guys in our neck of the woods – now I am hungry!!!
