Everyone Loves A Mocktail!

A good Mocktail can make any party fantastic – even when children are present! Did you know there’s a few popular adult drinks that can easily be made alcohol free?

Whether you’re hosting a party with children, or just want the flavor of your favorite drinks (sans booze).  Here’s a few popular Virgin Drink recipes to kick off any party where alcohol isn’t necessary!

Nojito

This virgin take on a classic Mojito is simple! Perfect for the pregnant mama who needs to chill out on a hot summer day!

Tools/Ingredients
  • Wooden pestle for muddling
  • 14-15 fresh mint leaves
  • 1oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
  • 1.5oz Simple Syrup
  • ICE
  • 4oz Chilled Ginger Ale

Gently muddle your mint leaves with lime juice, sugar, and Simple Syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake. Pour into tall glass and top with Ginger Ale. Serve Chilled.

Mock-arita

When I was pregnant, I craved lime! And a margarita, while forbidden, was so desired!

This faux-margarita will have your guests amazed! It’s delicious for summer parties with a Jimmy Buffet Theme!

Tools/Ingredients
  • Blender
  • Limes
  • Rock salt or margarita salt
  • 6oz frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 6oz frozen limeade concentrate
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 2 cups chilled club soda

Rub the rim of your margarita glasses with cut lime wedges. Line your glasses with rock salt. pro tip: buy margarita salt – the containers usually have lime juicers on the top lid, and are perfect to fill with salt and evenly rub your glasses with!

Blend lemonade, limeade, sugar, and ice, until slushy consistency. gently stir in club soda. Garnish with lime. *Affiliate links below*


Pina Colad-no

If you’re a fan of Pina Coladas, you can still enjoy them without the rum! This mocktail recipe will leave no impression it’s not included – taste wise, that is.

Tools/Ingredients
  • 4oz pineapple juice
  • 4oz cream of coconut
  • 2 cups of ice
  • pineapple slices and maraschino cherries (for garnish)

Throw your cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and ice together in a blender. Blend away until mixed and creamy. Add fruit for garnish.

Virgin Mai Tai Recipe

You will want to note that if you’re a  Mai Tai connoisseur, this recipe will be different than the real thing. That’s because the alcoholic recipe calls for 3-4 different liquors. but that’s not why we are here.

This recipe is still flavorful, and yummy! Perfect for a hawaiian barbeque party!

Tools/Ingredients
  • Pitcher
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup cream of coconut
  • 1.5 – 2 cups ice crushed ice
  • Pineapple slices and maraschino cherries

Combine all ingredients, except cut fruit, into pitcher. Stir. Serve with fun glasses and garnish with fruit. *Affiliate links below*
