I live for decorating!

Since we moved into our new home, it’s been fun redesigning the decorations we use.

You guys know I’m all about Personalized Gifts – and we’ve gotten a few over the years, mostly for my son, or the general look of our home.

One thing I’ve always wanted, was a wooden sign to celebrate the beginning of our family’s journey! GiftedOccasion has exactly what I always wanted in mind!

The Yellow Trim…

Ok, so only slightly off-topic; I want to address the ugly yellow trim of our home.

Considering our new (to us) home was only built in the early 90’s, it’s really not old. This paint job on the trim severely dates it, however.

I’ve forever wanted it GONE! Replaced with a slate gray, or even a steel blue… now that we have our GiftedOccasion Family Sign out front?

It really pulls in that yellow trim, and brings everything together against our red brick. I don’t know how, and I never thought anything would help that color…but I like it!

That’s not to say Ill never replace that yellow trim, but at least for right now – this sign just fits the look of our home I was going for!
