Toys, toys, toys!
German Shepards can be rough on toys. Most don’t last but a few weeks around our house.
It’s super important we invest in sturdy, durable toys that don’t become immediately destroyed so easily.
Ropes have been the longest-lasting dog toy for us. It’s always smart to supervise when letting your chewy dog play with a rope toy. You also want to make sure you take it away and replace the rope when it begins to become frayed with strands.

Best Indestructible Balls for German Shepards
Balls sometimes don’t last as long as ropes for us. But, there are quite a few “indestructible” dog balls on the market for aggressive chewers, like German Shepards.
Every dog loves a good game of fetch! Just always keep an eye on your dog’s ball toys, in case they become punctured. You don’t want them to become a choking hazard!

Shampoo!
Yes, even our doggos like smelling good!
The K9 Aloe & Oatmeal Cucumber Melon Shampoo is the best dog shampoo we have tried!
It smells amazing, and it’s vet formulated specifically for dogs. This is a soap-free aloe and oatmeal shampoo, infused with cucumber and ripe melon extracts.
Hypoallergenic, this will soothe dry skin, and helps to promote a healthy coat. Our dog has had fewer troubles with the cold air and scratching since using this shampoo, and his fur looks luxurious! #k9pro #dogshampoo
It never hurts to also have a good quality grooming brush to help with those tangles in a shaggy German Sheards fur. He’ll appreciate you for it!

Not just for Christmas!
Our dog is a big part of our family, so why shouldn’t he get his own presents under the tree?
Are you stuffing goodies in your dogs stocking this Christmas?
A really tough chewy is always a good bet for a dog like that. I love your pooch wearing his Santa hat! So cute!
It’s like you wrote this specifically for my friend’s dog, Remy. She could use that shampoo for sure. Thanks for posting all the links on where to find the products too.
Quite right! Even our pets deserve lots of nice gifts and little gifts for Christmas!
Who knew there were such amazing pet presents out thre. I can see some happy dogs this Christmas Happy Christmas!
What a great gift guide for doggy owners and we love dogs smelling fresh and clean so the shampoo would be a good idea x
What a cute dog and I am sure that he enjoys getting the bath massage with the shampoo…lol
This makes me miss our German Shepherd! They are my favorite dogs, I just love them!
Finding toys for German Shepherds is definitely an experience. We have a mix but he has the tenacity and chewing strength of a regular German. So many destroyed toys. Kongs are definitely sturdy but I also found the chuck it balls are amazing. They are squishy but indestructible, so my dog can chew forever on them. And they also bounce like crazy, so he is in love.
Aww, so sweet how you get your dog a Christmas gift. These look like wonderful ideas!
We have the indestructible dog ball and the brush and they are life changing. We don’t do the rope because they can eat them. Great post!
