Exfoliating Pads?
First, let’s explain exactly what the Neutralyze Exfoliating Pads are.
The dual-textured pads contain some of the following skincare ingredients,
- 2% salicylic acid (BHA)
- 1% mandelic acid (AHA)
First, you cleanse your skin with your favorite cleanser. Once, dry, wipe your face using the exfoliating pads. Leave the solution on so your skin can absorb the ingredients.
Using once a day, gradually increasing to 3 times a day, should lead to dramatic results! pores should minimize in appearance, acne, and blemishes should decrease. Overall skin appearance should look clearer, feel smoother, and be healthier!
What do these ingredients do?
Without going full geek with science (you can read that here if you want), here’s an explanation in lay terms. Salicylic Acid soaks up oils on your face and dries them out.
Mandelic Acid is a lesser-known beauty ingredient that works as an exfoliator. Leaving skin polished, smoother, and brighter.
It’s very important when using these ingredients, that you avoid sun exposure and use an SPF of 15 or higher.
I tried Neutralyze Exfoliating Pads For Over A Month…
In an attempt to clear up my skin. I don’t have an acne problem, per se. But I do have what I call “problem skin.”
Combination dry/oily skin that results in either patchy dry areas, or blackheads and pimples in other places.
I began by using the pads once a day after washing my face and increased usage over the next 4 weeks. Note: if you experience irritation, it’s best to dial back the number of times you use the pads.
Combating Texas heat and the dead of summer, it took some time, but by the end of the trial, I did see results!
The pimples and blemishes I had either disappeared or were greatly reduced to nothing more than some discoloration (common with my skin type). My pores are noticeably smaller, and my skin is way smoother than before I started the treatment!
A few cons to the product: The Neutralyze Exfoliating Pads did dry out my skin – a lot. Most likely due to the amount of alcohol in the product itself. but this can be countered with a good moisturizer. The only product within my skincare arsenal that seemed to do the trick, was the Hyaluronic Honey from Imagine Dermatology (my favorite!).
