Toddlers eat a lot, and it can be hard to keep up with their appetites! That’s one reason I love the Go & Grow by Similac OptiGRO fruit and veggie purees!
This post was developed in partnership with Similac. All opinions are my own.
Raising a growing boy!
My son has a veracious appetite for 22 months old-sometimes his plate is bigger than my husbands! Which is awesome! And he’s always been at a healthy weight, so our pediatrician assured us this was normal. Toddlers are also constantly moving, so they energy they burn off should be refilled with a variety of healthy foods. One way we have been keeping up with his appetite, is with Go & Grow by Simliac OptiGRO puree pouches!
These pouches are the only of it’s kind with OptiGRO, Similac’s new line of brain and eye nourishing blends of fruits and veggies. They contain DHA, Vitamin E, and Lutein, just like normal fruits and vegetables. They are also GMO-free, gluten-free, no artificial colors or flavors, and Certified USDA Organic.
Snack Time!
The Go & Grow by Similac OptiGRO pouches come in two different stages; Baby & Toddler. My son has been enjoying the Toddler blends as a snack, and occasionally as a healthy after-dinner treat if he has finished all of his vegetables. These are in the perfect snack size, and the pouch makes it super convenient for when we are on the go!
We’ve tried most of their blends, but the Mango, Sweet Potato, Pear seems to be his favorite!
While Bruce has never had an issue transitioning to table food, and absolutely loves his vegetables, I really like how these pouches can be used as a healthier snack alternative. And he will even eat them after dinner as a nice little dessert (but without any sugar!).
But, we are lucky. Not every toddler transitions to table food well, and most don’t like eating their vegetables. So if you have a picky eater, i would definitely try these! While they shouldn’t be substituted for healthy eating habits, they can help ease that transition into liking fruits and veggies-each pouch does contain 3 servings of organic vegetables and fruits needed for a healthy diet.
Available at Walmart!
You can find Go & Grow by Similac OptiGRO pouches at Walmart.com, and in Walmart stores. And a little bird has told me that there’s a GIVEAWAY at SheSpeaks.com! And all my iBotta friends will want to check out more on getting $0.50 back on any one pouch!

Great post! My son is about 2 months into eating solids, so he’s still a long ways from the pouches. However, it’s good to know about the pouch options!
