Lavilin Underarm Deodorant Cream Review

I’m always looking for more natural hygiene alternatives than what’s currently on the market. So I was excited to check out this new underarm deodorant, and intrigued by it’s claims. Odor free for up to 7 days?

This is a sponsored post in which I received free product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Lavilin Underarm Deodorant Cream

So i was able to check out the underarm deodorant by Lavilin recently. This is the first time I’ve heard of a deodorant that claims to leave you “odor free for up to 7 days.” Surely, that can’t be right…right?

Well first, let’s look at what’s in this stuff, and what isn’t!

  • Alcohol free, aluminum free and paraben free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Natural ingredients such as castor seed oil, potato starch, lactose and milk protein
  • Water resistant – one application for seven days of odor freedom

Lavilin has actually been leading the “one time application” line of deodorants for quite a while-and this was developed to help stinky soldiers in combat. Now, I’m not a solider, but I am a busy Mom. And we sweat, because we work hard. So going into this review, I was curious to see just how well this deodorant could hold up under the pressure.

First applicaton

Now, you want to apply this after you’ve showered (of course…this is not a blog that condones non-bathing). But it’s water resistant powers make it possible to bathe every day and not necessarily need to reapply. Which is awesome for those out camping, or exercising a lot, or doing water sports…or a mother who literally doesn’t have the time for a nice shower in between getting kids to school, housework, soccer practice, PTA meeting, let alone constantly applying deodorant. Hey, I’m just thinking of every scenario! And given the fact that dry shampoo is a GODSEND to those with a newborn, I could see how this would really help.

Now, because everyone’s individual reaction to deodorants is different, the brand recommends that it might take 5-7 applications for your body to react correctly, and unleash the full effectiveness of the deodorant.

But I noticed immediately that this was something different. Just a little is needed at a time, and you apply by using the nifty little spoon included inLavilin Underarm Deodorant the packaging. Apply the cream from your spoon with the tip of your finger. The cream itself is practically fragrance-less, and goes on more like a paste.

It actually is water resistant, and I never detected anything while wearing it! I think I may have reapplied just out of fear, but never once did I feel like it wasn’t working.

I’m honestly impressed

Lavilin has definitely hit on something with their underarm deodorant cream. I think this would work for most women, regardless of activity (I’m pretty active but I also don’t sweat a TON). But again, everyone’s reaction to these kinds of products varies-I would say definitely try it for a while before giving up altogether. But, it’s true to it’s claims of water-resistance, and I never noticed anything yucky or stinky while using it. Lavilian def worked for me!
