Are you a wine person?
There are two types of people in the world – those who know about wine, and those who don’t. I’m the latter. Well, not completely, I know a few things, but I’m by no means an expert. Picking the right wine to go with your perfect dinner party, can be difficult if you don’t know what you are looking for. I recently had a chance to learn a few things from this book, Fine Dine, Parties & Wine.
This is a sponsored post in which I received a book for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own. This page contains affiliate links.
Perfect for the novice wine drinker
This book is full of useful information, and easy to understand. Everything from understanding the differences between types of wine, to the factors that create the flavor of wine, it’s all here.
I didn’t know much about the difference between red and white wine (other than initial color/taste), until I read through this book. Fine Dine, Parties & Wine is pretty in-depth! I learned about regional wines, dessert wines, vintage and the most popular wines. If you need a crash course before going to that tasting at the bosses house, this is a must have!
Meal Pairing Made Easier
I’m the kind of person that knows just enough to maybe sneak by on the little wine knowledge I had. Red for beef….white for fish. But this book goes beyond just the basics! I didn’t know the different types of just red wine, can either enhance, or overshadow, your dinner plate. I really liked how this book broke everything down and explained, which makes picking the perfect bottle of wine so much easier. And the pairing section of this book will give you meal ideas for days!
Wine for Social Events, Dates, and more!
Fine Dine, Parties & Wine, even explains the correct wines to use for social events (weddings, parties, even official meetings). And, it’s complete with tips on How To Order Wine During A Date, and how to correctly pour! I really enjoyed all the info, and think this would be perfect for someone looking to broaden their wine knowledge, or even as a housewarming gift!
You can buy this book now, and if you do-let me know how you liked it! Are you a wine novice (like I was) or a connoisseur?
