Ok, so first, I know what you’re thinking; My god, Jasmine, you don’t need to lose any weight! Well, I 100% agree with you. But first, let me explain the story before we get on with the review.

So during the holidays, my wonderful husband loves complaining about his weight. Apparently, he doesn’t realize how lucky he is to have a wife that not only cooks for him, but cooks well. He hasn’t had to make his own sandwich in years (I’ll let you decipher that however you wish!). But, he tends to blame my cooking for his growing tummy. Even as much as I remind him we aren’t in our young 20’s anymore, and it’s been a while since he was in the Marines.

So when I had the opportunity to try these products, I of course tried to use my husband as a guinea pig. Because honestly, I’m 110lbs. I don’t have weight to lose! Plus, I’m very active, so it’s harder for me to attribute significant loss or maintenance to any one thing. Hubs was all for it…until it arrived. And I just couldn’t get him to submit! I’m pretty sure it was included in our wedding vows, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it wasn’t working.

My Goal…

Now, all that being said – I do maintain a certain little thing I like to call, my Mommy Pooch. My belly area is a big bigger since having a baby, although I retain none of the weight I gained in my thighs, hips, or arms during pregnancy. These products are aimed at specifically the belly area, so I thought Hey, this might help me tone down! So, I decided I’d have to take one for the team, and try this stuff myself to see how it worked!

 Brazilian Slimming Tea

This Slimming Tea you drink 15-30 minutes before meals, and throughout the day whenever you’re feeling hungry. The bags are labeled for you, so you drink the right blend at the right time. The only part I disliked about this system, was the “replacement” part. That’s because my philosophy has always been, if you’re hungry-eat. If you’re not hungry, don’t eat. BUT-I did notice it suppress those urges for a snack during the day. Which, during the holiday season (while I tried these products), it did help me from getting that third helping of pie that was calling from the kitchen. Again, I don’t endorse not eating! But I did notice an effect while drinking these teas, that did help to make me feel fuller during meals.

Lemontox Tea

Brazilian Belle also makes this Lemontox detox tea. It’s to be drunk immediately upon waking for two days in a row, resting on a third day. So I know what you’re thinking-and yes, after downing two cups of tea, I really had to pee in the mornings! Because I was also drinking the slimming tea, I couldn’t really tell any difference with this tea. But, it’s supposed to help rid you of the toxins built up within your body. One good thing I can say, is that the flavor isn’t overpowering with lemon.

Volcanic Clay Body Wrap

This pre-mixed clay solution is to be applied over the belly, back, arms, or really anywhere you have a problem area. Wrap tightly, and relax for an hour. It washes off easily in the shower, but don’t exceed the application time. Only takes an hour. And it does have a strong tingling sensation when applied. To be repeated every 72 hours, or when you have a big event and want to slim down a little.

Conclusion?

So my original weight before trying these Brazilian Belles products, was at my normal 110lbs that I’ve maintained my whole adult life, even post-baby (after losing 50lbs following my son’s birth). Eating Christmas Ham, and cookies, and those awesome little Lindor chocolates that my husband knows I love-and all the trimmings that came with dinner…all while drinking the teas and using the body wrap every 72 hours. My results?

110lbs soaking wet.

Now, I am a pretty active person, and my weight does tend to gain a little bit if I slack off and forgo yoga and jogging. And with the business of the holidays, I had little time for my workouts. So, while I did NOT lose weight (thankfully), I also didn’t have any weight gain. Which, given all the extra dinners and sweets around Christmas, I’m surprised. I did notice some appetite suppressant with the teas, but also increased energy. As far as per-pound weight loss, I have nothing to report.

THAT DOESN’T MEAN THE TEAS DON’T WORK. They just didn’t show anything incredibly significant, other than my weight didn’t change at all, even with a decrease in my workout routine. Which I am thankful for, because I don’t exercise to lose weight. I do it to stay healthy.

But what about your Mommy Pooch?

The volcanic body wrap, however, did nothing for my stomach. I was very disappointed in my pooch. I had said goodbye to it, wished it well, but that damn thing is still here. Oh well. That’s also not to say it wouldn’t work for someone else – it may just be that with my body type, I’m not big enough in that area for a significant result.

So, I would recommend the teas to those wishing, with proper diet and exercise, to  cleanse and slim down their weight. Unfortunately, as the Volcanic Clay did nothing for me, I must make peace with my Mommy Pooch.

But I do want to thank Brazilian Belles for giving me the opportunity to try all these products, and I want to know from my readers; have you tried any of these teas or clay wraps? How did you like them?
